lammas here we come

Hello der all followers of which there appear to be many....... currently writing from our local library due to an incident with a cat a laptop and a cup of hot chocolate:(

Just a quick note on a couple of things of interest. First one is we are off to Lammas sustainable housing co-op to improve our skills in straw bailing and hopefully try out turf roofing on a round house! Hurrah! This is a project that the community at Lammas has had going for a few months now, and are after volunteers to help with the building of their communal round house. They prefer to have about 3 days work form you but more or less I'm sure is greatly accepted.
Have a look at www.lammas.org.uk for more details.

Second note of worth I just discovered that as of yet I have made no mention of diggers and dreamers www.diggersanddreamers.org.uk , Schnews www.schnews.org.uk , or indymedia www.indymedia.org.uk . These have all proved absolutely beyond valuable in the past especially diggers and dreamers who have just started a wiki site for info on various aspects of how to when it comes to communal living.

That's all for now

Much love and hippy hugs and kisses

Eating chocolate and saving trees! Genius!

Have just discovered a wonderful website www.organicmeltdown.com .What you can do here is every time you buy one of their scrumptious chocolate bars, within the wrapper you will find a code, with this code simply log on to their website and register it and they will give money to the world land trust to save a tree in your name. It's brilliant a combination of fighting climate change, saving trees, and lovely chocolate all in one! What more could you need!
Loads of people have signed up to accounts here and are battling it out to save the most trees.... only 136 chocolate bars left to go till i'm top of the leader board:)

Much peace and chocolate filled hippy love
